
What is Historical Impressions?
A group of historical interpreters based in the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania that are committed to education, commemoration and preservation. Impressions of the Civil War are well researched and based on documentation. Safety, proper conduct and historical accuracy are heavily stressed. We are currently seeking interpreters for the following areas, 9th U.S. Veteran Reserve Corps, 106th Reg't Pennsylvania Volunteers, 8th Virginia Infantry, C.S.A.; Civil War era Ambulance Corp. Fifer, drummers, seamstress,teamsters,and laundress are currently needed.
Our goal is to provide an entertaining and interesting means of learning about our country's past. Living history presentations are 'real' in the sense that they are interactive, bringing the past to 'life' and typically convey much more in the area of human interest stories. As well, our presentations can be tailored to meet the requirements of most historical programs. Step back into the past with us.
